This versatile design allows the operator to use just one tool for making both holes and flanges in 22 to 16 gauge (0.76 to 1.52 mm) automotive grade, mild steel. Reduce metal fabrication time by half! Use one side of the tool head to punch a clean, flat, burr-free 5/16 in (8 mm) diameter hole; use the other side of the tool head to form a nominal 7/16 in (11 mm) Long, 1 in (25.4 mm) Wide and .040 in (1 mm) Deep offset flange to accommodate no-bump lap welds. The head also rotates for ease of use. The powerful, lightweight pneumatic motor is compatible with most existing shop air supplies and a quick-connect hose adapter equipped with a male 1/4-inch pipe thread. Every pull of the motor lever delivers a powerful single punch or single flange crimp with precision control. A cushioned grip around the all-steel motor housing offers comfort and sure gripping while operating the tool. The punch, die and flanging head are made of hardened steel to ensure long dependable service.
